Time for Preparation : 30 minutes
Time for Cooking : 15 minutes
Serves 4 People
Ingredients for Chicken Fry
500 grams Chicken
1 Egg
3 Tbsp Corn Flour
4 Tbsp Soya Sauce
4 Garlic cloves (chopped)
½ inch Ginger (chopped)
Pinch of Sugar
Salt to taste
1 cup Oil
How to make Chicken Fry
Take the chicken and cut them into desired pieces and then wash them properly.
Now we take the corn flour and we will add the corn flour to the chicken pieces.
Take the egg now and break it, add it to the chicken pieces and corn flour.
Now add the soya sauce. If you don’t like the flavor of soya sauce then you can avoid this and just add plain salt.
Now we will add the ginger and garlic that we have chopped earlier, if you want it spicy chop some green chilies and then add it to the chicken.
Now add the sugar and salt according to your taste. If you have already added the soya sauce before then add very less salt as soya sauce contains salt in it.
Mix everything and marinate the chicken well and keep it aside for near about half an hour. The longer you keep for marination the better the taste of the recipe but do not put it in the refrigerator as we have added the corn flour so the mixture will become hard.
It is now time to start cooking, heat oil in a pan.
Take the marinated Chicken Little by little and drop them into the oil. This frying is done in high flame.
After it is half cooked reduce the flame to medium as the chicken needs to get cooked inside too. Once the chicken pieces turn to golden brown in color and it is cooked well, remove it from the oil and place it on a kitchen tissue paper if you want to get rid of the excess oil.
Eye catching and mouth watering Chicken Fry is ready to savor with your favorite sauce.
