Dry Sweet And Sour Prawns

Prawns are also known as Shrimps. It is my favorite sea food. This prawn recipe taste very yummy when savored with any kind of rice or noodles recipe. This recipe will be a little spicy, a little sweet and a little sour in taste. This is a dry version of this prawn recipe. Here I am sharing my delicious recipe of Sweet And Sour Prawns.






Time for Preparation : 10 minutes
Time for Cooking : 30 minutes
Serves 4 People 

Ingredients for Sweet And Sour Prawns

1 kg Tiger Prawns or any kind of big prawns
1 Egg
3 Tbsp Corn flour
½ Tsp Sugar
4 Tbsp Soy sauce
Pinch of Ajinomoto
1 Tbsp Garlic chopped
1 Tbsp Ginger chopped
2 Big Onions (cut in big squares)
4 Green Chilies (cut in one inch)
4 Tbsp Tomato Ketchup
Salt to taste
½ cup Oil

How to make Sweet And Sour Prawns

Clean the prawns properly, remove the shell but do not remove the head of the prawns.



Now break and add the egg.



Add the corn flour.



Now add 2 tbsp soy sauce.



Add salt now.



Mix everything together and leave it aside.



Heat oil in a wok.



Now fry the marinated prawns little by little.



Fry the prawns till it becomes golden brown in color.



Once fried remove from the oil and keep it in a separate bowl.



Now add the chopped garlic and ginger into the hot oil and stir for some time.



Add the onions and chilies now.



Stir for 2 minutes.



Now add the tomato ketchup and the 2 tbsp soy sauce.



Stir and mix the tomato ketchup with the onions, chilies, ginger and garlic.



Now add the sugar.



Add pinch of ajinomoto.



Stir for a minute.



Now add the fried prawns.



Stir fry everything for 5 minutes.



Delicious Sweet And Sour Prawns are now ready.
