Chicken Dal
The yummy Chicken Dal recipe is a very simple and easy meal to cook.
Dal recipes are always perfect combinations to any kind of roti or rice recipes. There are huge variety of dal recipes and I have tried a quite a lot of them, one of these dal recipes that I am sharing here is a simple one without too much spices and a completely easy to make at home dish. I always prefer a thin consistency dal so I cook all my dal recipes with a little more amount of water. Just squeezing few drops of lemon juice to the hot and tasty dal before savoring will make this Chicken Dal a very delightful dish. See the recipe of this dal here under.Cook Time

See here how to prepare Chicken DalFirst take the moong dal and the masoor dal in a bowl and wash them properly. Keep it ready aside.
Now take the onion and slice them, cut the tomatoes and mix the chopped ginger and garlic and keep it along with the dried red chilies.
Take the chicken and cut them into desired shape, wash it properly and keep it aside.
Now heat oil in a kadhai or any deep bottom vessel in which you can prepare dal.
Add the chopped ginger, garlic, sliced onions and dried red chilies and sauté in the oil till the onions become transparent.
Now add the chicken into the kadhai and sauté it in the oil along with the onions, ginger, garlic and the dried red chilies. Saute till the chicken is little fried.
Add the tomatoes now to the lightly fried chicken.
Saute the chicken properly with the tomatoes till the tomatoes get dissolved.
Now we will add the main ingredients, the moong dal and the masoor dal and sauté.
Add the turmeric powder to the recipe.
Now add the salt to this yummy dish.
Saute the dal along with the chicken and fry it for 5 more minutes.
Now add the water to the dal. I have added 4 cups of water as I do not eat too thick dal, but if you like thick consistency of the dal then you can decrease the amount of the water.
Boil and cook the dal well.
Scrumptious Chicken Dal is now ready, garnish it with the chopped coriander leaves and you can also sprinkle little lemon juice and serve it hot.
