How to cook Makai Paneer Recipe

Before cooking let us do the preparation, let us chop the tomatoes then cut the onions in cubes. Also cut the green chillies as you want, I have sliced the green chillies.

Now take the paneer or cottage cheese and cut them into small cubes and also chop the coriander leaves and keep it ready for garnishing.

It is now time to cook, let us first heat the oil in a deep bottom pan or kadhai.

Fry the cubed paneer till they become slightly golden in colour. Take it out from the oil and keep it aside.

Add the cumin seeds into the same paneer fried oil and let it crackle in the hot oil.

Now add the cubed onions and sweet corn kernels, sauté for few seconds. The lovely aroma of onion and cumin seeds will fill your kitchen.

Add the chopped tomatoes and green chillies and keep sauting. The tomatoes will get softer and form thick gravy.

Now add the salt as much as you require and red chilli powder. Be careful while adding the red chilli powder as it will become spicy.

Add the fried paneer and very little water so that everything gets cooked properly and forms thick gravy.

Cover and cook for few more seconds and then remove the lid and stir, by this time the water will dry up and our yummy recipe is now ready

Sprinkle the fresh chopped coriander leaves to garnish and serve it with plain rice, pulao or even roti or puris.
